Depression

Depression can be divided into two categories: situational or clinical. Situational depression is an organic response to grief and loss; this can provide an opportunity for healing and introspection. Clinical depression is a response that varies in severity, from mild to severe, and is not a result of loss and grief. It is biological and can be inherited.
Seeking help can be a difficult and overwhelming task. Mental health professionals (e.g., counselor, therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, etc.) can assist with the development of coping strategies, sometimes in combination with medications, to alleviate symptoms.

Some Depression symptoms:
-Sadness for more than 6 months
-Loss of interest in activities once enjoyed
-Eating more or less food
-Sleeping too much or too little
