Sexual Orientation

-Not determined by a person’s gender identity. There are several different sexual orientations; asexual, bisexual, gay/lesbian, omnisexual/pansexual, and questioning.

Asexual

-A term that identifies and describes a person who does not experience sexual attraction. This term is self-identification.

Bisexual

-A self-identity used by some people who are sexually/erotically or emotionally attracted to men and women. Some people prefer the term Pansexual because it opens the possibilities for attraction to more than two genders.

Gay

-An identity term used by people who identify as men and are attracted to men.

Lesbian/Gay

-An identity term used by some people who identify as female and are attracted to women.

Omnisexual/Pansexual

-Attracted to people of all sexes and genders.

Questioning

-A term referring to people who are unsure or questioning their gender identity or sexual orientation.

Skiliosexual

-Attracted to genderqueer, gender fluid, gender non-binary, gender non-conforming, and neither male nor female individuals.
